Looking forward to 2025

Just thinking that there hadn't been any posts for a while.

Disappointing that our last event for 2024, the Torchlight Procession in Edinburgh, had to be cancelled due to high winds. All that hot wax blowing everywhere. There's always next year.

Remember to keep checking the Calendar Page to see what is coming up. The summer programme is filling up, and even enquiries into 2026!

Sunday, 23 June 2024

Following the success of last year's concert we are again performing at the Fringe by the Sea. Entry is free, but to control numbers you will need to get a ticket from the online box office. There will be a retiring collection, this year in aid of CHAS and the East Lothian Food Bank.

Summer 2024

Well, this is the start of our summer season.

Sadly our first outing is for the funeral of Past President, Piper and Drum Major of the band, John Starr.

June is the gala month with outings on all the Saturdays.

July and August are the Lodge performances

And of course there are the in betweenies for weddings, lifeboat launches, D-Day remembrance and a few solo pipers.

Don't forget our "Sounds of Scotland" concert on 5th August as part of Fringe by the Sea.

Check the Calendar page of the website for all the up to date engagements.

"Burns" Social at the Rugby Club

Our first social get together in a while. Who knew we had so many players, family, friends and supporters. Thank you all for turning out and for helping to raise £300 for the East Lothian Food Bank and Brain Power.

Scotland - Ukraine

Despite the poor weather of Storm Babet a few of us played at the unveiling of the Scotland/Ukraine Mural at the end of the high Street in North Berwick. Along with a Ukrainian dance group we entertained the spectators and officials. Thank you to those who took part.
